Kirschner wires

Lisfranc fracture

Wires

Patient known for a Lisfranc fracture-dislocation. A closed reduction of the 1st metatarsal bone fracture was performed and fixation was achieved using two Kirschner wires crossing the first tarsometatarsal joint.

3rd metatarsal osteosynthesis

Lisfranc fracture

Plate and screws

Open reduction and osteosynthesis of the 3rd metatarsal bone was performed using plate and screws.

Kirschner wires

Lisfranc fracture

Wires

Three Kirschner wires have been installed to maintain the reduction of the 4th and 5th metatarsophalangeal joints. Reduction was performed during the 3rd metatarsal bone's open reduction.

2nd metatarsal alignment

On the postoperative anteroposterior view, alignment of the 2nd metatarsal and intermediate cuneiform's medial borders is greatly improved.

4th metatarsal alignment

On the oblique view, the medial alignment of the 4th metatarsal with the cuboid seems to be preserved.

Metallic staples

Metallic staples for skin closure following open reduction and internal fixation of the 3rd metatarsal bone.
