12-year-old male:
Right hip pain and decreased internal rotation.

Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE)

Bone displacement

On the lateral view, alignment is lost between the epiphysis and metaphysis.

Displacement

With a line representing the femoral neck and another one representing the orientation of the femoral head, it is easy to see the posterior displacement of the epiphysis on the right side.

Normal left alignment

The left hip is normal.

Slip measurement

The epiphyseal slip is of about 10% of the total physis lenght (grade 1 slip).
