Prosthesis

Left hip hemiarthroplasty (Moore hip prosthesis) for a Garden 3 type femoral neck fracture. This prosthesis allows for early mobilization of patients, decreases complications related to prolonged bed rest, and prevents complications related to avascular necrosis of the femoral head.

Femoral neck fracture

Linear hypodensity

New slightly displaced right femoral neck fracture.

Varus/valgus angulation measurement

Impacted fracture with a valgus angle of 10°. This is therefore a Garden 1 type fracture.

Staples

Metallic staples for skin closure.

Vascular calcifications

Tubular hyperdensity
