Metacarpal fracture (5th)

Linear hypodensity

Distal diaphyso-metaphyseal oblique fracture of the 5th metacarpal bone with slight impaction and angulation.

Phalangeal arthrosis

Joint space narrowing

Asymmetrically narrowed joint space of the proximal and distal interphalangeal joints, suggesting a degenerative phenomenon (osteoarthritis). Small osteophytes are visible around the joints and a small bone cyst can be seen at the distal end of the proximal phalange of the thumb.

Angulation measurement

The angle between the main parts on each view is measured (15° on the lateral and 38° on the oblique).
