Dorsal scoliosis

Scoliosis

Rachis misalignment

Dorsal curvature with a right convexity measured at 19° between D5 and D10.

Dorsolumbar scoliosis

Scoliosis

Rachis misalignment

Dorsolumbar curvature with a left convexity measured at 27° between D10 and L4. This is a classical case of idiopathic scoliosis.

Risser 0

The iliac crest anteroposterior view shows that the ossification center is not yet visible (Risser grade 0). In a Risser grade 5, the apophysis ossification centre would be completely ossified and fused with the crest.

Risser 1

In a Risser 1, the ossification centre would extend to this section.

Risser 2

In a Risser 2, the ossification centre would extend to this section.

Risser 3

In a Risser 3, the ossification would extend to this section.

Risser 4

In a Risser 4, the ossification would extend to this section.

Thoracic apex

T8 is the thoracic apical vertebra.

Lumbar apex

L1 is the lumbar apical vertebra.
