Femoral neck fracture

Bone deformity

Transverse fracture of the left femoral neck.

Angulation measurement

Complete femoral neck fracture with superolateral displacement of the distal fragment and a 28° varus angulation between the neck and the head. A lateral view (unavailable here) is mandatory to fully assess the displacement and to appreciate any bony contact between the fragments (Garden 3 or 4 type fractures).
