72-year-old male:
Postoperative control of a right femoral neck fracture. Previous left hip surgery.

Cannulated screws

Femoral neck fracture

Plate and screws

Postoperative imaging of an acute Garden 1 type femoral neck fracture. Internal fixation with three cannulated screws prevents further displacement of the fracture and allows for early mobilization of the patient.

Moore prosthesis

Femoral neck fracture

Prosthesis

Left hip hemiarthroplasty (Moore hip prosthesis) for a Garden 3 type femoral neck fracture. This prosthesis allows for early mobilization of patients, decreases the risk of complications related to prolonged bed rest and prevents complications related to avascular necrosis of the femoral head.

Staples

Metallic staples for skin closure at both surgical incisions.

Vascular calcifications

Tubular hyperdensity

Multiple bilateral vascular calcifications.

Urinary catheter

Urinary catheter

The distal end of the urinary catheter is attached to the patient's left leg.
